Una alternativa libre a Skype ha comenzado a gestarse. En manos del Proyecto GNU (The GNU Project)  está la opción que se estaba esperando para poder contar con una plataforma libre para comunicaciones vía VoIP.
Lo que ofrecerá GNU Free Call es la posibilidad de establecer una solución que resulte gratuita, segura y, a la vez, anónima para comunicarse.

¿Qué dispositivos la soportarán? Por lo que sea sabe este proyecto será multiplataforma y llegará incluso a los móviles. El sistema utilizará el protocolo peer to peer SIP para poder establecer las comunicaciones. Por sus características, sin dudas, será una alternativa que comenzará a llamar la atención de una importante cantidad de público.

Si hay algo que se ha visto incrementado en los ultimos años, lo cual daria a pensar que es un gran negocio, (aparte de sitios que generan mashups potenciados por redes sociales) son sin dudas los sitios de alojamiento de archivos (rapidshare.. megaupload.. hotfile... blblabla etc..).

Si existe un ranking, entonces es ahi donde se podria ver cuales son los servicios mas utilizados, para subir y obviamente para bajar archivos, lo que seria un dato interezante a la hora de adquirir una cuenta preimum en estos sitios.

Aquellos que no son muy populares, optan por generar sistemas de afiliados, pagar por descargas, con lo cual son muchos los uploaders quienes comienzan a llenar la red con enlaces de estos sitios, lo cual potencia las compras de cuentas premium en los mismos y aumenta la popularidad de estos.

Esto es algo parecido a lo que paso con hotfile, a quienes de hecho dedico este articulo, que hoy decidieron quitarme mi cuenta premium alegando que "demasiados archivos fueron denunciados por violacion de derechos de autor".

Es la hipocrecia en formato file-sharing hosting, para un sitio que obtiene su popularidad haciendo vista gorda de las toneladas de terabytes en subidas y bajadas en las cuales estan fundadas sus politicas de negocio, y que de un dia para el otro se ve tan grande que ya no necesitan de los usuarios que se afiliaron al sitio, y cancelan cuentan premium sin reembolso, las cuales costaron dinero.

Y es asi de facil como de un dia para el otro me desaparecieron 500gb alojados en mi cuenta, el acceso a la cuenta premium en si y mi blog de ivlabs lleno de enlaces inservibles.

Luego de algunos días un poco ocupado entre estudios y trabajos, me decidí a desarrollar un pequeño sitio que tenia dándome vueltas en la cabeza.

Básicamente funciona como hides.at (y alguno otro que anda por la vuelta) con la idea de anteponer un capacha para impedir que los enlaces sean reportados.

Extendiendo un poco la idea, agregué cuentas de usuario, y un panel para administrar y poder editar los enlaces de cada contenedor, proteger por password cada enlace, agregar descripciones, tags, títulos, activar indexación y reportar enlaces dañados.
Con el tema de la indexación y los tags, a medida que la web crezca y se llene la base de datos, voy a activar la nube de tags, y el directorio de enlaces, con lo cual el sitio aparte sera navegable.

Es lo que usare de ahora en más para los enlaces del blog, el registro queda abierto para aquellos que lo quieran utilizar.
